Introduction
Welcome to the Modern Academy in Maadi ( MA.M )..
The Modern Academy in Maadi was established in 1993, it is an Egyptian institution of higher learning which is certified by the ministry of higher eduction and is located in Maadi, a southern suburb of Cairo. The 4000 sq.m luxurious building has a 1500 + student enrollment that follows Managment and Computer science programs leading to a Bachelor's degree under the Modern Academy's Higher Institute For Computer Science And Managment Tecnology.
The Computer science department in the higher institute for Computer sciences and Managmnet tecnology grants a Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences and Managment technology after successfully spending five years of undergraduate studies coverd on equal intervals of two semesters per academic year.
The Business Adminstration Department grants a Bachelor's degree after successfully spending four years of undergraduated studies in the following branches :-
a - Business Adminstration.
b - Accounting.
c - Economics.
Studies in the Business Administration Department are covered on equal intervals of two semesters per academic year. Enrolled in Arabic section ( For Business Administration Department only ) is available upon request for non-speakers of English.
All academic curricula in both Computer Science and the Buisiness Administraion Departments are being conducted in English according to the credit hours system. The stuff, also, conducts extra teaching hours-free of charge in order to improve student's academic standards.
An academic agreement of partnership has been signed between the Modern Academy In Maadi ( M.A.M ) and the University of District of Columbia ( U.D.C ) in Washington D.C so as to offer Cairo based U.D.C. degrees in Computer Sciences and Buisiness administration this is in addition to the academic and cultural interaction between both institution's stuff members and students.
Moreover the Modern Academy in Maadi has another academic agreement with the University of Berno in Check Republic regarding the agreements for post-graduate students to get their master's degree in Computer Science after successfully spending one year of post-graduate studies in the University of Berno.
The Modern Academy in Maadi accepts graduates after high school from Egypt or abroad, also, the academy accepts graduates of two years Diploma after high school in Egypt. A personal interview is being conducted for new condidates on the day of enrollment. Moreover, passing an English proficiency test is prerequisite for registration in the academy....
